Eight years! Eight years is a long time to do anything, and yet it seems like it was only yesterday I was just getting started. Thinking back, it’s hard to believe that I’ve spent twice as long running Ugmonk as it took to get my college degree! It’s been 8 years since I launched this little “side project,” and every day I still wake up thrilled to run Ugmonk. I’m so grateful for the places it’s taken me, the people I’ve met, and the tens of thousands of you that continue to support me every step of the way. Today, I’m incredibly excited to launch the new limited edition 8th Anniversary Set. Only 200 of these sets exist, so once they’re sold out they're gone for good.
Anniversary Tee
For this year’s tee we chose a super soft triblend black fabric, the softest of any of our tees. The tee features the 8th Anniversary design printed with a soft water-based ink. A special halftone effect creates the shadows of the overlapping rings to give the design added dimension. The tees are manufactured and printed right here in the USA. Only available as part of the limited edition anniversary set, quantities are limited in each size.
Metal Coaster
Each set also includes a metal 8th Anniversary coaster. These coasters are laser cut from thick 3/16" raw steel and sealed with a matte lacquer. Whether you use them as a drink coaster, or simply display on your desk, these will no doubt be a conversation piece.
Slide-out Box
The set comes packaged in a special slide-out box that I custom designed from the ground up. The matte black box features the anniversary design embossed in silver foil on the top and minimalist detailing on each side of the box, and the inner portion of the box pulls out smoothly to reveal the contents. It was a fun challenge to design every aspect of these boxes to create a premium package for this year’s set.
Numbered Letterpress Card
When you slide open your box you’ll discover your set number on a special letterpress card. These cards are beautifully letterpressed with a matte silver ink on 200lb black card stock, each with a unique number from 1–200.
